We had our wedding at the golden inn on Oct 13, 2012. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day, ceremony, reception, location, etc! Everything was perfect! Michael was a sweetheart from the beginning . My husband is in the military and he was very understanding and accommodating to our wacky schedule and made sure we had everything set to go! The hotel reservations lady, Nancy was also very helpful with blocking off rooms for our wedding, making sure each of our guests rooms received a welcome basket, and was very kind to my family and friends! The front desk staff were very friendly and knowledgeable of the area and places that were still open during the off season. The service during our reception and brunch was also outstanding ! Jen, our waitress was super sweet and made sure we always had what we needed. Our bartenders were very friendly as well! The food was GREAT and they even made my husband a cheeseburger because he has a diet of a 12 year old. He did say it was the best cheeseburger he ever had! The vendors I used that Michael suggested were fantastic! My flowers were amazing and the cake was beautiful and delicious! Everything at the golden inn was reasonably priced and they make it so easy because most things are included ! (Ceremony set up, cake, etc) . The brunch the day after was also a perfect ending to our fairy tale weekend! Thank you so much for everything , again!

The Golden Inn is a beautiful place for a wedding. We got married on the beach and our reception in Seaglass room was amazing, it is even beautiful without the decorations and outside is just as nice! The food was delicious (everyone kept talking about it) and their wedding packages include a lot at a reasonable price. Michael Emens is a pleasure to work with. He answers all your questions promptly and he really takes care of his brides.

We had our wedding on the beach on August 11th at the Golden Inn. Our wedding planner, Michael Emens, really took great care of us for months before the ceremony. He was quick to respond to our emails and recommend local vendors. The food, flowers and cake were just perfect. The beach ceremony was beautiful and our guests raved about the Sea Glass dining room and the delicious food! We were worried about the rain (luckily the weather held up for the ceremony), but Michael kept our minds at ease the entire weekend.

Every aspect of our affiliation with the Golden Inn was AWESOME! Starting with Michael Emens, we were in good hands. The location is fantastic; the food was outstanding; the service was impeccable; the room is beautiful! We were so very pleased with this venue and everything about it. The Golden Inn is the perfect location if you are looking for a local beach wedding. Our wedding was in June and we had the most beautiful day. Michael Emens was professional and a great help with planning our wedding. He emailed me back almost instantly with any concerns or questions that we had. I used all recommended vendors from Michael and we were very pleased with everyone and everything! All of our guests have told us how wonderful our special day was and how much fun they had. I highly recommend The Golden Inn and would not have changed one single thing. :)
